Did Sushant Singh Rajput's Nude Scene 'Drive' Dharma To Release Their Film On Netflix?
Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive has been in the making for a while now. Though the audience lost hope to see the film anytime soon, recently, the makers made an announcement saying that the film will finally see the light of the day but not on the big screens but will have a Netflix release. Nevertheless, this move by Karan Johar, who also announced his collaboration and his partnership with the OTT platform, got everyone talking as to why there will be a Netflix release. However, we have now learned that it is because of Sushant who will be stripping onscreen. Yes, you read that right.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Rajput will have a nude scene in the film and if the film got a theatrical release, the scene might have got into the trouble with the CBFC. However, to avoid trouble, the makers shifted its release. A source also told the portal, "Karan Johar could not afford to take the risk of a theatrical release for Drive after the double debacle in 2019 of Kalank and Student Of The Year 2. Karan made every effort to spruce up the film, give it a slick spin, and release it in theatres, but it was too risky. He had decided to shelve it when Netflix came forward to buy and stream Drive as part of their long-term deal with Karan and Dharma Productions."

Talking about the nude scene, Sushant told DNA, "It’s not a full monty scene like it’s made out to be. Instead, it’s more like an illusion. It’s somewhat like what you saw in Deadpool. It’s not a completely nude scene like many actors have done in films."

Drive will be high on action and car racing. The first look posters of Jackie and Sushant were released a while ago. The film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and it also stars Boman Irani, Pankaj Tripathi, Vibha Chhibber, Sapna Pabbi and Vikramjeet Virk apart from Jacqueline and Sushant.
