After making his acting debut in 1960 with "Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere," the iconic actor we know as Dharmendra has made a significant change to his name. The revelation comes with the release of "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya," which hit theatres on February 9. In the film, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, Dharmendra portrays the role of Shahid's grandfather, referred to as Dada. In a notable shift, the opening credits of the movie unveil that Dharmendra has chosen to include his middle and birth surname. He is credited as Dharmendra Singh Deol in the film, embracing the name Dharam Singh Deol given to him at birth. The Sholay actor was born on December 8, 1935, in Punjab to Kewal Kishan Singh Deol and Satwant Kaur, originally had the name Dharam Singh Deol. His father was a headmaster, and he spent his early years in Sahnewal village in Punjab. When he entered the film industry, Dharmendra dropped his middle and surname.
