Recently at an event, he recalled that he was told by the doctors to not do action films and dance owing to his health issues.
Recently. Vikram Vedha’s first song 'Alcoholia' was launched on Saturday, September 17, 2022. In the song, he has again won his fans' hearts with his killer dance moves. During the event, he recalled that he was warned by doctors before his debut that he won't be able to do action films and dance due to his poor health condition. He was quoted saying, “Before Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, doctors said my health condition is not good to do action films and dance. I took that as a challenge and took care of my health to do such films. It's surreal for me to be dancing, doing actions, and saying those dialogues in 25 films. I think the 21-year-old me would be very proud of me today.”
However, in his career spanning over 22 years, he has established himself as an action hero with the films like War, Dhoom 2, and Krrish and amazed everyone with his dancing skills in Ek Pal Ke Jeena from his debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. For his debut film, he won two film fare awards- Best Actor and Best Male Debut.
Talking about the film Vikram Vedha, the 48-year-old actor will be seen playing gangster Vedha alongside Saif Ali Khan playing cop Vikram. The film also stars Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles. This action thriller is a remake of the 2018 Tamil Film of the same name starring Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan. The Hindi remake is slated to release on September 30, 2022, theatrically pan India.
