Karan Johar is quite a box full of trivia. This one is about himself, though. On his show, Koffee With Karan 6, the filmmaker revealed that his real name is not Karan. That’s right! He was born with some other name and after 12 days, his name was changed to Karan. Wondering what’s his real name?
Well, Karan, while talking to his guests on the show- Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana, said that his real name is Rahul Kumar Johar. Rahul, rings a bell? It is his close buddy and favourite star, Shah Rukh Khan’s popular screen name. Rahul, naam to suna hoga? Watch the video below:
Karan also revealed that on his birth certificate, the name mentioned is still, Rahul Kumar Johar. And guess what? When Ayushmann asked him if his current name too is Karan Kumar Johar, KJo said, “Yes”, while Vicky added that the abbreviation then should be KKJo. Isn’t that hilarious?
Talking about the episode with the two talented actors, it was quite a roller coaster. Vicky Kaushal also hinted about his relationship status at the show. When Karan asked him if he is dating someone, Vicky did not say the words but he nodded and confirmed that he has special someone in his life. Later, when Karan asked Vicky to give more details about his relationship, he said, "Let's see what happens. It's new." The Manmarziyaan actor is said to be dating TV actress Harleen Sethi, who stars in ALTBalaji’s web series, Broken.
