DID YOU KNOW: Neha Sharma Was Not The First Choice For Tum Bin 2!

Neha Sharma who looks extremely adorable in the sequel of Tum Bin would not have set the screen with magic had Amyra Dastur not refused the film!

Probably most of us didn’t know is this that the Youngistaan actress Neha Sharma was not the first choice of director Anubhav Sinha. It was none other than Mr. X actress Amyra Dastur.

A source close to the director confirmed the news and said, “Amyra was the first choice and she had even gotten through the auditions for the film. But when Anubhav told her about the shooting schedule of the film, her dates clashed with the project that the actress had already signed up. Anubhav was left with no choice than scouting for another actress.”

One of the team members suggested Neha’s name to Anubhav and he called the actress for the auditions. “He found Neha apt for the film and was impressed by her. This is how Neha was finalised for Tum Bin 2,” added the source.

Neha Sharma was last seen opposite Manoj Bajpayee in the much controversial short film Kriti which was directed by Shirish Kunder! She made her debut in 2010 with Emraan Hashmi’s Crook.

Tum Bin 2 is written, co-produced and directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Bhushan Kumar, under the T-Series banner. The film is the sequel to the 2001 romantic drama film Tum Bin.

It features Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati in lead roles. The film is scheduled for release on 18 November 2016.
