Speaking about this, the Barfi star told Hindustan Times, “She’s hardworking, passionate and has had the opportunity to work with many good directors, including Imtiaz. It’s unfortunate that since we are related by blood, we couldn’t act together.”
The Laal Singh Chadda actress, who is renowned for her debut in the OTT space with Jaane Jaan, addressed the industry's tendency to focus on actors' appearances rather than their performances. In an interview with Film Companion, she emphasized her commitment to being an actor first, attempting to break away from the emphasis on looks. Despite acknowledging the industry's tendency to box female stars based on appearance, Kareena expressed confidence in her own looks and stated that she is not concerned about fine lines and wrinkles showing on camera.
