The sudden passing of late actress Sridevi sent shock waves across the country. Having dedicated more than four decades of her life into becoming an actress, she dominated not only Bollywood but even the South industries. Considering she is known as India’s first female superstar, the actress worked with almost everyone in the entertainment industry. However, actor Sanjay Dutt was an exception.
If reports are to be believed, Sridevi had refused to work with Dutt after an horrifying incident. For those who don’t know, the actors had collaborated with each other for Mahesh Bhatt’s Gumrah in 1993. While they left the audience spellbound with their on-screen chemistry, they never interacted on the sets during the shooting process. It was reported that she wasn’t ready to work with him ever, but had accepted the offer for the sake of her career, which was on a decline. As per the publication, she would even leave the set after her work was done, without even glancing at her co-star. Well, her hesitation to work with him came from a terrorizing experience. It all happened when in 1983, Sridevi was busy shooting for her movie Himmatwala, when Sanjay, who was her big fan, visited her on the set. Upon not finding her anywhere, he had barged in her makeup room. Terrified of his intoxicated state, Sridevi had closed the door in his face and decided not to collaborate with him again.
For the unversed, Sridevi breathed her last due to accidental drowning when she was in Dubai attending her nephew, actor Mohit Marwah’s wedding. Speaking of which, the producer had recently announced the launch of Sridevi’s autobiography 'The Life Of A Legend'.
