Did You Know That Shah Rukh Khan Owes His Career To ARMAAN KOHLI?
Yes, you read that right. King Khan made the confession for the first time on the episode of Yaaron Ki Baarat
Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma were the latest guests on the couch of popular TV show Yaaron Ki Baarat. The two hosts, Sajid Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh were smart enough to elicit some unheard revelations from the two actors.
One of these revelations was that SRK owes his career to Armaan Kohli. Yes, that's right.

It so happened that Armaan was all set to star in Deewana (1992) opposite Divya Bharti. So much so he had even done a photo shoot for the poster of the film. However, at the last minute he backed out citing some reasons, and that's when Shah Rukh was cast in the role. Well, we all know what followed. Not only did the film propel Shah Rukh to overnight stardom but also he won major awards that year, thereby cementing his position in the film industry.
SRK even revealed that the Filmfare Award that he won for Deewana till date has the Armaan Kohli poster accompanying his and the film’s name. (A Filmfare trophy has the name of the actor, the film he has won the award for and the film’s poster). Yes, the makers of the movie didn't have budget enough to reshoot a new poster with Shah Rukh before the movie's release, and therefore decided to stick to the orginal.
