Dil Chahta Hain: THIS Is How Sharmila Tagore Reacted To Suchitra Pillai Slapping Saif Ali Khan In The Film -EXCLUSIVE
Dil Chahta Hai featured Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshaye Khanna as three friends and their coming-of-age stories. Directed by Farhan Akhtar the film also starred Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni, and Dimple Kapadia.
Dil Chahta Hain starring Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Khanna recently completed 20 years. The film which released on 10 August 2001, became a rage amongst youngsters. Suchitra Pillai who played Priya in the film recalls a conversation she had with Saif's mom Sharmila Tagore.
Dil Chahta Hai holds a special place not only in the hearts of fans but also for the star cast. The film surely gives a nostalgic feeling. During a recent interaction with Spotboye Suchitra recalls the time when she was asked to slap Saif, for a scene. Speaking about the scene with Saif she said, "He was like come on you are an actor, go ahead slap me." The actress played a demanding and dominating girlfriend Priya.
However, that's not all Suchitra also revealed her conversation with Saif's mom whom she met at a party. "I said mam I hope you remember I am Suchitra the one who slaps Saif in Dil Chahta Hai. And then she said yeah 'I hope it was a tight one'. We both burst out laughing," said Suchitra.
Meanwhile, Suchitra was last seen in Cold Case which released on Amazon Prime Video, it featured Prithviraj in the lead. The actress also will be seen in Made in Heaven, Masaba Masaba 2 to name a few.
