Legendary actor Dilip Kumar is no more. Theveteran actor breathed his last at Hinduja Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday. The news of his death was announced on his official Twitter handle. Shortly after the actor's demise, his body was taken to his residence. His wife Saira Banu was seen right by his side.

The legendary actor, who was admitted after he complained of having breathing problems, had shown signs of improvement. In one of the tweets, Saira Banu requested for prayers and well-wishes for the late actor. Sadly, the actor passed away today. Sharing the news of his death, Faisal Farooqui wrote, 'Faisal Farooqui had earlier tweeted, ''With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. The actor's funeral will take place today in Santacruz. 'Burial today at 5: 00 PM. Juhu Qabrastan at Santacruz Mumbai,' reads the latest tweet on his official Twitter handle. Shabana Azmi was earlier spotted arriving at the late actor's residence.

As the 'Tragedy King' of Bollywood left for his heavenly abode, Bollywood celebrities took to social media and paid their last respects to the late actor. From Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor to Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sunny Deol and others took to social media to remember the legend.
