The news of Dilip Kumar's passing away has had everyone in for a rude shock. While social media has been buzz with reactions to the sad news, celebrities were also seen outside the later actor and Saira Banu's residence in Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan was spotted arriving at the house. He was also clicked consoling the late actor's wife, Saira Banu. SRK and Dilip Kumar shared a special bond -- while the former idolised the late actor, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu considered Shah Rukh as their son.
SRK was often heard saying that his mother felt he looks like Dilip Kumar. As per a report in the Indian Express, the late actor suffered from advanced prostate cancer that had spread in other organs of his body informed a doctor from the hospital. The actor was recently admitted to PD Hinduja hospital after he complained of having difficulty in breathing.
Also seen arriving at the late actor’s residence to pay their condolences to the family Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Vidya Balan with her husband Siddarth Roy Kapur, and Dharmendra. Maharashtra’s CM Uddhav Thackeray also paid a visit to the late actor’s residence.
