Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalized on Sunday at a Mumbai hospital after complaining of breathing issues. The 98-year-old was admitted to Mumbai’s PD Hinduja Hospital. Speaking with SpotboyE.com, Kumar’s wife Saira Banu revealed the actor is hospitalized for treatment. Later, it was reported that the veteran actor was diagnosed with Bilateral Pleural Effusion. Saira Banu took to Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter handle to share the latest update on the veteran actor’s health. She revealed Kumar’s health is stable and he will be discharged soon. Saira Banu posted a long message. Her message reads: “Past few days my beloved husband, Yousuf Khan, has been unwell and recuperating at a hospital in Mumbai. Through this note, I want to thank you all for keeping him in your prayers and for all the love and affection.” She added, “My husband, my Kohinoor, our Dilip Kumar Sahab’s health is stable and doctors have assured me that he should be discharged soon.” The actress continued, “I urge you to not believe in rumours. While I ask you to pray for Sahab’s health, I am praying that the Almighty keep all of you safe and healthy during this pandemic.” She concluded her note with, “Sincerely, Saira Banu Khan”

Meanwhile, from an earlier health update, Saira Banu had shared that the veteran actor is better and revealed his sonography was done again. Apart from this, Dharmendra had visited the veteran actor at the hospital. He had also shared a picture with Dilip Kumar.
