A month ago, news of the romantic saga, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge re-releasing in 15 plus countries left many avid fans of this movie breaking into a happy dance. Today the production banner of this movie, Yash Raj Films revealed when the film will be hitting the theatres again in New Zealand. The movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will be be re-releasing in New Zealand on November 26, 2020. Now isn’t that amazing?

Their official Twitter handle also carried the deets of the cinemas where it will be screened. The movie will be screened in Event Manukau and Event westcity in Auckland, HOYTS Te Awa in Hamilton and HOYTS Riccarton in Christchurch. Their Tweet read, “An epic love story. Watch Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in cinemas, 26th November, New Zealand. #DDLJ25” The movie completed 25 years of its release this year, it made people nostalgic and shower the lead pair with love and praises.

Also as the government permitted to open theatres after a long lockdown imposed with outbreak of COVID-19, the film will be continued to be screened at Maratha Mandir.  Below is the tweet of Yash Raj Films which had left the DDLJ fans across the sea all excited.

Besides DDLJ, filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s film, Golmaal Again was announced to be re-releasing in New Zealand post the country was declared COVID-19 free.
