Disha Patani On Salman Khan: ‘He Is Santa Claus Sitting On Set, Willing To Help Everyone’
In a recent interview, Disha Patani opened up about what it was like working with an experienced actor such as Salman Khan in the film Bharat. She found the megastar to be a very sweet, humble and down to earth person and also revealed that people on set come to him for help and he is always willing to help everyone
Disha Patani made her Bollywood debut with MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016 along with Sushant Singh Rajput. While the actress has only done a few films so far, she has managed to make a mark in Bollywood and was last seen in the film Bharat starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film Bharat took the box-office by storm and was a success in terms of its box-office numbers. The film also received a good response from masses as well as critics and the audience was all praises for the actors in the film.
Now, Disha Patani has shared her experience on working with megastar Salman Khan in the film Bharat. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Disha revealed what it was like working with him and she said that while a lot of people had told her about Salman’s intimidating personality, she found him to be a very down to earth, humble and sweet person. “A lot of people told me that he has an intimidating personality. But he is so sweet, humble, funny and down to earth. He makes everyone feel comfortable. He is a family oriented person. I remember people coming to him for help. He is Santa Claus sitting on set, willing to help everyone,” she said.
Disha Patani hails from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and had dropped out of college to pursue her Bollywood dreams. She also says that she is hungry for different roles. She says, “I still feel like I am too new. I’ve only done three films and I’m still hungry for different roles. And, I want to stay hungry. I never want to reach a point where I’m content with myself...I’m not from here and I’ve had to struggle to get here, so I want to keep struggling for different roles and films now.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Disha Patani was last seen in Bharat starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The actress will next be seen in Mohit Suri’s Malang. The actress also launched her own Youtube channel and has us hooked with her dance videos!
