About a few days before Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his ex-manager Disha Salian passed away. Disha Salian died by alleged suicide on June 8 after she fell off a 14-storey building. After Disha’s alleged suicide, several theories were made connecting her demise to Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death. Over three months after late Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-manager Disha Salian’s alleged suicide, in the latest development, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane makes explosive testimony in Disha Salian death case. Rane raises questions over late Disha Salian’s fiancé Rohan Rai.
According to a report in Republic, Nitesh Rane claimed that Disha Salian’s fiancé Rohan Rai knows about what happened on June 8 and is allegedly in hiding. Questioning Rohan Rai, Nitesh Rane said, "You have to understand that there are very straight-forward evidence or a straight-forward link. And, there is a very suspicious way things have started unveiling after June 8th which led to the 13th.” Talking about the late Bollywood celebrity manager, Rane mentioned how Disha did not stay with her parents but was in a live-in relationship with a guy called Rohan Rai. He spoke about what he heard and mentioned they were in a live-in relationship, madly in love and were planning to settle down by the end of this year or next year.
Nitesh Rane then continued, “Surprisingly, since Disha's death, nobody has heard about this guy called Rohan Rai till today, and what is his stand on the entire Disha Salian episode? Why isn't he coming out and saying that this isn't a suicide and this is what has happened?” As Rane questioned Rohan Rai’s absence so far, he claimed that Disha’s fiancé was planning her funeral for June 9 with his friends, and raised questions on the post-mortem report.
BJP MLA, Nitesh Rane claimed, "Coincidentally, on June 9th, Rohan Rai and his friends were co-ordinating on Disha's funeral. Now if you look at the provisional post-mortem report, the date is on June 11th. So, if Rohan Rai and his friends were co-ordinating Disha's funeral on June 9th, how did the post-mortem report get dated on June 11th? And, what were they co-ordinating on June 9th? So it all gives rise to the suspicion on the character of Rohan Rai and why is he not in the picture? Why is he not coming out and saying that this is what had happened? If it's wrong, it's wrong." Meanwhile, as Nitesh Rane made several claims about Rohan Rai, he also claimed that Disha Salian’s fiance, who hails from Mangalore, is currently at his native place. He claimed that Rohan Rai is in hiding and questioned why he is not bringing out facts. Further on, Rane added that if Rohan Rai does not come forward and share about the happenings, he will go ahead and share crucial information related to the case with the Central Bureau of Investigation.
