Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh To Be Summoned Soon For Questioning; Confirms NCB – REPORTS
In a shocking development, Rhea Chakraborty named Bollywood celebs like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta in drugs. She also named Sushant Singh Rajput’s good friend Mukesh Chabbra and former manager Rohini Iyer to NCB. During her interrogation in drug-probe related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Rhea allegedly accepted procuring drugs and also said she along with Sara used to do drugs with Sushant. However, later it was reported that the deputy of Narcotics Control Bureau KPS Malhotra clarified and said the list was prepared of peddlers and traffickers, but not of Bollywood celebs.

Now the latest report in Times Of India states that NCB is likely to send the summons to these actresses named by Rhea. The TOI report states that NCB has confirmed that Rhea had named the actresses in her statement and now the Narcotics agency is likely to send the summons to Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Fashion designer Simone Khambatta, tomorrow.

All three are expected to be called for questioning in the drug angle on Thursday. Apart from these 3, many more names of Bollywood actress and filmmakers have emerged and are also on NCB’s radar. After brother Showik Chakraborty, Rhea was arrested but Mumbai Session Court rejected Rhea and Showik’s bail twice and now they are likely to move to Bombay High Court.

However, her lawyer said they are in no hurry to apply for bail in the High Court. Lawyer Satish Maneshinde said, “Even if we get a copy of the Order today, we are not in a hurry and moving immediately… we will study the order, it’s implications and developments in the case at the NCB level and then decide. There’s no room for speculation… once it is filed we will share a copy of the bail application.” (ALSO READ: Sushant Singh Rajput’s Brother-In-Law Writes: ‘3 Months Since The Unimaginable Loss’, Remembers When SSR Played ‘Typical Protective Brother’)
