Since then, she has been a part of many films, and has portrayed varied roles in those films. She has a career span of over 25 years, during which she won numerous awards for her roles. However, she noticed that people have been using the term ‘supporting actor’ while referring to her, and she has now objected to this. She urged people not to try branding her with the tag of a supporting actor, and mentioned that she plays all sorts of roles.
Divya Dutta shared a series of tweets in which she urged people not to brand her as a supporting actor. “Kuch journo dosto yun hain ki I understand u feel I deserve better, ()but pls don’t try branding me with a tag of supporting actor.
