Finally it’s time to rejoice for Shahid Kapoor’s fans, as the actor has finally announced the release date of his next, Jersey. The much awaited movie will hit the screens in Diwali 2021, confirmed the actor in his latest Instagram post. Jersey will brighten up your Diwali festivities, it will release on November 5, 2021. The actor sharing the news, shared being proud of the team and cheered the team for their efforts. He also shared a picture from the movie, in his cricketer’s avatar.
He wrote in his Instagram post, “JERSEY releasing in theatres this DIWALI 5th November 2021. The triumph of the human spirit. A journey I am so very proud of. This ones for the TEAM ....” Just like his fans, the actor too has been eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the screens; while the actor was shooting for Jersey in the beginning of 2020, the film went on a backburner with the outbreak of COVID-19 in March 2020.

The actor a few days ago, shared in his Instagram post about the film wrap up, he mentioned in his post of shooting for 47 days during the pandemic. He wrote in his Instagram post, “It’s a film wrap on #jersey .... 47 days of shoot during covid. Just unbelievable. I am so proud of the entire team. It’s nothing short of a miracle.
