Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh’s upcoming social drama ‘Doctor G’ will hit the theatres on June 17, 2022
Ayushmann Khurrana And Rakul Preet Singh starrer ‘Doctor G’ is one of the most anticipated movies releasing next year. The Anubhuti Kashyap’s directorial has been in the news ever since it was announced. Right from dropping BTS pictures to treating fans with its posters, Ayushmann has been leaving no stone unturned to create curiosity about Doctor G. Now, with his latest social media post, the actor has unveiled the release date of the movie.
Taking to Instagram, Ayushmann shared a still from the sets featuring him and Rakul. Alongside it, he wrote, “Get ready to book your appointment in cinemas on 17th June 2022 as @rakulpreet @shefalishahofficial and I come together for #DoctorG.”
In the picture, Ayushmann and Rakul can be seen donning a white medical coat as they posed together in what appeared to be a hospital. The Yaariyan actress also posted the same photo on her Instagram.

Doctor G marks the directorial debut of Anurag Kashyap’s sister Anubhuti Kashyap, and also features Shefali Shah in a pivotal role. While Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen essaying the role of a gynecologist, Rakul will be seen playing Dr. Fatima, a medical student in the movie.
In a statement, Rakul said “Shooting for Doctor G has turned out to be an interesting experience. Since I play a doctor, the mannerisms and actions needed to be precise. It was mandatory to learn important things related to the medical world to make it look real on screen. The journey of becoming Doctor Fatima was an amazing process which I will cherish forever."
