Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma starrer Roohi is currenting creating a huge buzz. The trailer of the movie received a positive response from the audience. And now, finally, Roohi is all set to release in the theatres tomorrow i.e. 11th March. The stars have been leaving no stone unturned to promote the movie.
Ever since the trailer dropped, it was highly compared to Stree, which was released in 2018 and also starred Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. In a recent interview with Bollywood Life, Rajkummar and Varun Sharma were asked whether or not Jahnhvi Kapoor's character Roohi has a scene with Stree in their new film.
Talking about the same, Rajkummar said that he can't disclose if such a scene connecting both Stree and Roohi exists. Varun Sharma, on the other hand, mentioned that mentioned that the excitement lies in us waiting and watching as such a treat does lies in wait in Roohi. Without going into any details, Varun stated that one has to wait until the movie releases to find out.
Earlier, Rajkummar Rao opened up about Roohi's comparison with Stree and said that it is totally unfair to his new film. The actor added that the firsts are always special. However, Roohi and Stree are different films with new characters. "I hope people don't feel 'let's see what's common between Roohi and Stree'. I hope they see it as an independent film," he added. Apart from Rajkummar Rao, Stree also starred Shraddha Kapoor and Aparshakti Khurana.
