His last film, the globetrotting romance Jab Harry Met Sejal, did not live upto expectations at the box-office and according to whispers in the film industry, Shah Rukh Khan now wants more than just romantic roles.
Rumour has it that the superstar is hunting for negative roles now. Buzz is, he has asked his team to go through all the scripts that come to his office and find him a role which is meatier than a lovelorn hero.

Before he romanced Bollywood beauties in the lush locales of Punjab and Switzerland, Shah Rukh made his mark with negative roles, be it Darr, Baazigar or Raam Jaane.

And Shah Rukh Khan was at his villanous best in Raees, all guns blazing and that film fared well at the box-office.
Shah Rukh established himself as a bankable actor with films like Baazigar, where he played Ajay, a young man out to take revenge for his father's murder. In a shocking scene Ajay seduces Seema, played by Shilpa Shetty, and then pushes her off the terrace.

And who can forget his turn as Rahul in Darr, an obsessive stalker in love with Kiran, played by Juhi Chawla. Like Baazigar, Darr too was a blockbuster at the box-office.
And Shah Rukh wants to once again dive into a complex character, who is not a typical hero. We are sure his fans will be pleased.
