Dream Team Tour practice turns into a nightmare for Parineeti
These days, most of Bollywood’s young brigade -- Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, to name a few -- are busy preparing for Karan Johar’s Dream Team Tour. But rigorous rehearsals always have casualties and yesterday, it was Parineeti. The actress was grooving with Varun to Dishoom‘s Jaaneman Aah track, when she injured her leg.
These days, most of Bollywood’s young brigade -- Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, to name a few -- are busy preparing for Karan Johar’s Dream Team Tour.
The tour will see the actors performing across 5 US cities over a period of one month. Not wanting to showcase anything less than perfect, our actors are rehearsing day and night.
But rigorous rehearsals always have casualties and yesterday, it was Parineeti. The actress was grooving with Varun to Dishoom‘s Jaaneman Aah track, when she injured her leg. For those who are not aware, the two had featured in the song in Dishoom and they had set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry.
It was Varun, who tweeted about Pari’s injury:
Touched by her fans’ concern on social media, Pari also took to social media. And, relax, guys, she will perform on the tour.
With the Dream Team Tour kick-starting on August 12, we hope Parineeti recovers soon. Just yesterday, SpotboyE.com told you about her being a hot contender for Aanand L Rai’s next (Parineeti to join Shah Rukh in Aanand L Rai's next?, Aug 8), which features Shah Rukh as a dwarf.
A source close to Aanand L Rai who holds the reins on the film, confirmed the story, saying, “Aanand has been considering Parineeti amongst a few other actresses. There are two female lead slots in the film. However, Aanand will take a few more days to finalise the actresses.”
Buzz has been that Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are the hot contenders to play the female leads.
