Durga Puja 2019: Alia Bhatt Makes A Rare Appearance In A Red Saree; Be Still Our Fluttering Hearts - Pictures
It is the last day of Navratri and Durga puja and our shutterbugs spotted Alia Bhatt at pujo looking ethereal in a red saree. Hrithik Roshan and Rani Mukerji were there too
North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Pandal is one of the most renowned pandals in the city. Many Bollywood celebs ensure to visit the pandal to seek blessings. Earlier we saw Priyanka Chopra, Kajol, Tanuja, Tanisha Mukerji and Ayan Mukerji making their way to the pandal on Durga Ashtami along with Rani Mukerji who is a regular member. Today, it is the last of Navratri 2019 and before bidding adieu, Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji and Alia Bhatt have come under one roof to seek blessings from Devi maa. Our shutterbugs spotted these celebs making an entry to the puja pandal.
We also spotted Rani’s cousin and Brahmashtra director Ayan Mukerji with her. The Mukerji siblings are quite regulars and we have been spotting them every day. Later, all the three posed for a click with Durga maa in the backdrop. Alia Bhatt wore a red gorgeous saree. The colour looked vibrant on her while keeping her makeup and jewellery minimal. Sans Ranbir Kapoor, Alia came to meet her best friend and was seen with Hrithik who was seen at his casual best. He opted for black pants and tee-shirt, teaming it with a cap and brown jacket.
Talking about Rani, she opted for a bright pink saree, pairing it with beaded jewellery. She even posed for photos with her Mujhse Dosti Karogi co-star Hrithik which for us brought a lot of memories. Wish we could see them together in a movie.
Meanwhile, Rani will be next seen in Mardaani 2 which is a sequel to 2014 film. The first teaser of the film was released a few days ago which is powerful and gritty. While Hrithik, Dhoom macha raha hai with his recently released film, War along with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. Speaking of Alia, it is reported that she will be starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next after Inshallah been shelved.
