Ekta Kapoor goes bold at b’day bash, Sonam rocks the airport look
Many eyebrows were raised in surprise when Ekta Kapoor made an appearance at TV producer Vikas Gupta’s birthday bash last night.
Many eyebrows were raised in surprise when Ekta Kapoor made an appearance at TV producer Vikas Gupta’s birthday bash last night.
Ekta walked in wearing quite a bold dress and if there were surreptitious glances being cast at her, she couldn’t care less. The TV czarina seemed to be in the mood for some real fun.
The party, themed ‘Superheroes’, was held at Tap Sports Bar in Andheri (West) and it was attended by the who’s who of Mumbai’s television industry.
Elsewhere in the city, Sonam Kapoor was spotted at the airport, leaving for the 69th Cannes Film Festival, which begins on May 11.
The actress will make an appearance at the fest on May 15 and 16.
Sonam, who will represent a cosmetic giant at the film gala, looked stunningly stylish at the airport. Younger sister Rhea has also accompanied her to the French Riviera.

South siren Raai Laxmi, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Julie 2, also celebrated her birthday (which was on May 5) this weekend.
The party, held at Mumbai’s Intercontinental Dome Bar, was attended by B-Town and TV celebs including R. Madhavan, Sonali Sehgal, Pooja Chopra,Sana Khan,Gizele Thakral, Karan V Grover, and Hanif Hilal. Here are some pics:
