Esha Deol Pregnant; Hema Malini & Dharmendra Set To Welcome Their 2ND Grandchild
Good news for the Deols and Takhtanis. Reports suggest that Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani are expecting their first baby this year-end
Days after Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu announced that they are set to be parents for the first time, comes in the news that Esha Deol too is expecting her first baby with husband Bharat Takhtani.
Goes without saying that Deols and Takhtanis are ecstatic. Hema Malini and Dharmendra are eagerly waiting to be grandparents for the second time.
While Esha and Hema Malini did not confirm the news, Ram Kamal Mukherjee (who is writing a second book on Hema Malini – Beyond The Dream Girl) confirmed this report to a leading daily and said, “Yes, Esha is pregnant and everyone in the family is delighted. After Ahana’s son – Darein, Hemaji and Dharamji are eagerly waiting to be grandparents again.”
Reports suggest that though Esha and Bharat have taken their time to start a family, the actress has always been fond of children and she was the one who did the shopping during younger sister, Ahana’s pregnancy.
The Deol family has already started planning for the arrival of the baby. It is said that Esha is currently staying with the veteran actress at her Juhu bungalow and visits her in-laws in Bandra regularly. Hema Malini is planning how to make her room child-friendly. The baby is due for year-end.
Esha and Bharat have known each other since school and initially bonded during inter-school competitions. They became good friends over time, however, post school, began focussing on their respective careers and moved on. They met again during the shoot of Hema Malini’s directorial, Tell Me O Khhuda and fell in love. The couple tied the knot on June 29, 2012.
