Kangana Ranaut earned the wrath of a section of people due to her remarks about the farmers’ protest in India. Her tweets have caused a stir on social media. In one of the tweets, Kangana allegedly called the protesting farmers ‘terrorists’ while claiming that they were trying to divide India. Kangana had been shooting for Dhaakad in Madhya Pradesh, and it was reported that some Congress leaders in Madhya Pradesh had threatened protest at Dhaakad shoot.

Now, former minister in the previous Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh, Sukhdev Panse has hit the headlines for the words he used in reference to Kangana Ranaut. According to a report in IANS, he called her a ‘naachney gaane waali’. He reportedly said that Kangana, who had insulted the protesting farmers, was met with a Congress-led protest during the shoot of her upcoming film Dhaakad. He said that the Congress workers were physically assaulted by the state police.

 It was last week that the Congress had reportedly staged a big protest against Kangana Ranaut in Sarni, Baitul, where she was shooting for Dhaakad. As per reports, police used force on Congress leaders and registered cases against them. The report in IANS states that Congress workers, under the leadership of Panse, took out a rally and submitted a memorandum to the District Collector against the police action.

According to IANS, Sukhdev Panse said that the police’s action against the Congress workers was against democracy. “The police should not act as a puppet of Kangana as governments keep changing. There should be a fair investigation of the police's action against the Congress workers and no action should be taken against our party workers till the probe is complete,” he said.
