Model Harnaaz Sandhu, who hails from Chandigarh, Punjab, has made everyone super proud by winning the coveted title of ‘Miss Universe 2021’ after nearly 21 years. Sandhu is the third Indian to wear the crown after actress Lara Dutta won the title in 2000. On Sunday, Harnaaz was crowned the 70th Miss Universe by the previous Miss Universe Andrea Meza of Mexico, at the Israeli Red Sea resort town of Eilat. The 21-year-old has been receiving congratulatory wishes from her well-wishers and Bollywood celebrities.

While there is much curiosity about Harnaaz’s acting debut, SpotboyE.com has learned that Miss Universe 2021 will be making her acting debut with Punjabi film titled ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ opposite veteran actress Upasana Singh’s son Nanak. The movie will be produced by Upasana Singh’s production house ‘Santosh Entertainment Studio’ and will also star action hero Dev Kharoud, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Upasana and Hobby Dhaliwal in lead roles.

It is slated to be released on 27th May 2022. Well, Harnaaz has a lot on her plate. Her second Pollywood film will be titled ‘Yaaran Diyan Po Baara’ where once again she would be seen sharing the silver space with Nanak. Bankrolled by Santosh Entertainment Studio, the film will also see popular comedian Jaswinder Bhalla, Harby Sangha and Upasana Singh. Harnaaz’s second movie will release in July 2022.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu’s mother Ruby Sandhu shared her happiness on her daughter’s big win and said she is “super excited and that she can’t express her feelings in words. “I didn't watch the ceremony as I was praying in the Gurudwara. I was only praying that Harnaaz should win the crown and had told God that I will only go home if my daughter wins,” added Ruby Sandhu.
