Fan actor and frontline warrior Shikha Malhotra, who suffered a major stroke recently opened up about her recovery process. The actress revealed she is doing better from before. A few days ago from now, on December 10, Shikha suffered a major stroke and was paralysed after. As per a report, the actress was admitted to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital. Her PR manager Ashwani Shukla had informed that the right side of Shikha’s body was affected badly. However, it was reported recently that Malhotra was shifted to KEM hospital when she showed no signs of improvement.
Speaking with Navbharattimes.com, according to a Mumbai Mirror report, Shikha Malhotra spoke about her health with the help of her film Kaanchli’s director. The actress said, "I am helpless with my body but my heart gets elated when I think of my film Kaanchli in which I have played the lead role. However, not many people are aware of its release.” As the actress spoke about her film, she also mentioned how she is going through a tough phase in her life. And, Shikha asked for everyone’s support.
The Fan actress said, “I am going through a tough phase in my life and I need everyone’s support. I am passionate about my work and I just need a little push from the audience." Shikha Malhotra then mentioned that her health is improving but the process is slow. The actress added, “My health is improving but the process is slow. I'm not sure when I will be able to walk again."
Meanwhile, Shikha Malhotra has worked in films like Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan, and Running Shaadi. She is also part of the Rajasthani film Kaanchli: Life In a Slough which stars actor Sanjay Mishra too. The movie is directed by filmmaker Dedipya Joshii. On the other hand, health-wise, Shikha had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier. The actress holds a nursing degree and was working on the frontline after the pandemic hit.
