Farah Khan Apologises For ‘Inadvertently’ Hurting A Community’s Religious Sentiments; Raveena Tandon Defends Herself With Proof
Yesterday, we reported how an FIR was filed against Raveena Tandon, Farah Khan and Bharti Singh for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of the Christian community. The controversy took place after the trio used the term ‘Hallelujah’ on Farah Khan’s YouTube show and this didn’t go down well with certain members of the community. Soon after, a complaint under Section 295-A IPC was registered with Amritsar’s Ajnala Police, along with video proof. In fact, a protest, too, was carried out against them on the occasion of Christmas.

Now, taking to their respective social media accounts, Farah Khan and Raveena Tandon have issued apologies for unintentionally hurting the religious sentiments. Raveena Tandon, however, also defended herself by posting a video proof from the episode. Her tweet read, “Please do watch this link. I haven't said a word that can be interpreted as an insult to any religion. The three of us (Farah Khan, Bharti Singh and I) never intended to offend anyone, but in case we did, my most sincere apologies to those who were hurt.” (ALSO READ - Raveena Tandon-Farah Khan-Bharti Singh Booked For Allegedly Hurting Religious Sentiments Of The Christian Community)

On behalf of the entire team, Raveena Tandon, Bharti Singh and Myself.. we do sincerely apologise.”
