Farhan Akhtar’s Girlfriend Shibani Dandekar Speaks About How Relationships Can Survive During Lockdown

Actor Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar have been dating each other for the past three years. Their mushy and love-soaked social media posts with each other leave our hearts aflutter. But when a couple is staying together, the personal space sometimes gets compromised. Speaking about that, Shibani who has struck a good balance with her beau Farhan opened up about how her relationship thrived during the lockdown. While talking to a publication, Dandekar revealed she spends a lot of time with her partner but when it comes to her space, she does things on her own.
Shibani thinks the biggest learning in this process is to balance and respect each other’s routines. Moreover, Shibani mentioned that every relationship has its struggles but they have amplified during the lockdown. “Every relationship has its struggles. In the lockdown, they’re amplified. And just to figure out what your way of functioning is really important. It takes some time because it’s not something we’re used to or prepared for. So, life is happening, you’re also figuring out a system that works for you,” she told Hindustan Times.
“I’m just doing what I want to do at the moment. If I want to talk about it, I’ll talk about it. If I don’t feel like talking about it at that moment, then I won’t. But, I’m not trying to hide anything,” she says, asserting, “there’s nothing kind of pre-planned in the way that I function with my relationship or my personal life. I just share things with people when I feel like sharing. This really works for me.”
As Shibani and Farhan have been dating each other for a while, marriage rumours have not stopped making noise. To this end, in another interview, Shibani said the topic has not come up yet but added they will let everyone know once they figure it out.
