The couple, who has been dating each other for quite some time now, tied the knot on Saturday in an intimate ceremony at Javed Akhtar-Shabana Azmi's Khandala farmhouse -Sukoon. Several photos of the bride and groom have surfaced on social media. In the photos going viral, Farhan and Shibani look stunning together as they exchange vows as husband and wife.
For the big day, Shibani wore a red off-shoulder gown and looked beyond beautiful. She completed her beautiful bridal look with a matching red veil. Farhan, on the other hand, looked dapper as he wore a black tuxedo and sunglasses.
In the photos shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Farhan-Shibani can be seen standing on a small stage with beautiful decor in the background. The couple is all smiles and look perfect together. Recently, several photos and videos from pre-wedding festivities went viral on social media.
Farhan and Shibani's wedding was confirmed by Javed Akhtar. Speaking to Bombay Times, he had revealed, "Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners. Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that we cannot host anything on a large scale. So, we are only calling a few people. It will be a very simple affair."
When asked about Shibani, he said, "She is a very nice girl. All of us like her very much. The most important thing is that Farhan and she get along very well, which is great."
