Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to tie the knot this month. The couple's wedding was confirmed by Javed Akhtar a couple of days ago. The wedding preparations are in full swing. It was being speculated that the couple's wedding day will take place at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's Khandala farmhouse 'Sukoon'. But, it looks like there are some grand plans.
As reported by BollywoodLife, Farhan and Shibani's wedding festivity will be spread across three destinations - Mumbai, Lonavala and Mauritius.
Earlier, Speaking to Bombay Times, Javed Akhtar said, "Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners. Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that we cannot host anything on a large scale. So, we are only calling a few people. It will be a very simple affair. Talking about Shibani, he said, "She is a very nice girl. All of us like her very much. The most important thing is that Farhan and she get along very well, which is great."
The couple is madly in love with each other. Their social media posts are proof of the same.
Farhan was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani. The ex-couple got divorced in 2017. They have two daughters together - Shakya and Akira.
On the work front, Farhan is all set to make his directorial comeback with Jee Le Zaraa. The film stars Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
