It’s been 2 blissful years of being happily married for fashionista Sonam Kapoor to Anand Ahuja. Often shuttling between Mumbai-Delhi and London, the couple was stationed in the country's capital during the early COVID-19 lockdown days. Now like this lockdown worked like a boon to many out there, by allowing themselves to spend some quality time with their family, it was no different for fashionista Sonam. The actress too spent time with her hubby Anand and mother-in-law Priya Ahuja. Just like a few days ago, we had seen Priya Ahuja gushing over her darling daughter-in-law, now Sonam is all praises for her as well.
The actress in conversation with Filmfare, mentioned of her mother-in-law being all cool and a progressive woman, thus helping her bond well with her. Also spilling the beans about what they liked to do in the quarantine period. Sonam praised her MIL for dressing up beautifully even in the lockdown, and not being in pyjamas and workout clothes. Though it took an extra effort to dress up, Sonam mentioned not having any regrets on it. Also like Sonam who tried her hands at cooking during the lockdown period, she mentioned that both she and her mother-in-law liked to bake.
Sonam was quoted saying in the said publication, “So my mom-in-law is one of the most progressive and cool women you will ever come across. She dresses beautifully. Both of us were like during quarantine, we are not going to dress up in pyjamas and work out clothes. We love baking together. She and I love dressing up. I haven't stayed up in gym clothes and pyjamas for more than 2 to 3 days. It takes a little extra effort to dress up, but I wouldn't mind spending 2-3 hours to dress up.”
With the country in its Unlock phase 1, Sonam flew to Mumbai to be with her family and also celebrated her birthday with her close ones.
