Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in the month of June every year to honor fatherhood and paternal bonds. This year, Father’s day falls on June 21, 2020, and is celebrated today to influence the father’s in the society. Father’s Day was founded by Sonora Smart Dodd, the daughter of an American Civil War veteran in 1910. On the occasion of Father’s day, Anushka Sharma recalls a conversation with her Papa, while Mira Rajput shares pictures with dad and wishes hubby Shahid Kapoor.
On Instagram, Mira Rajput shared pictures with her dad Vikramaditya Rajput and penned down a heartfelt note wishing him on Father’s day. Sharing pictures, she wrote, “Happy Father’s Day Dad!!! I love you Thank you for always being my pillar of strength and my guiding light.”
Mira also shared a picture with hubby Shahid Kapoor and wished the ‘best dad’ too on the special day. In her sweet wish for the father of her kids Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, Mira wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to the best Dad There’s a reason our kids wake up and jump on you #forevergoodcop #DaddyPig.” The star wife called her hubby the ‘forever good cop’ and mentioned he is ‘daddy pig’ as his kids always jump on him once they are up.
Taking to her Instagram, Anushka Sharma recalled a conversation between her papa and her when he would drive her to pre University college before he went to his office on his Army posting in Bangalore. Sharing the story of how her father asked her to pray for wisdom to know the difference between right and wrong and the strength to choose the right thing always. As the actress recalled the conversation with her Papa, she also prayed that all the young girls out there are blessed with a father like hers. Read the conversation below:
