The FIFA World Cup 2022 Finals were full of nerve-wracking moments as the defending champions were pitted against two-time champions Argentina for the crown at the Lusail Stadium. While Lionel Messi led side managed to score two goals before the half time, Kylian Mbappé led side was in for a tough competition as they managed to score by the latter half of the game. 

However, the Argentinian side was crowned as the champions as they managed to mark a terrific win over France in the penalties to become the fourth nation to win the FIFA World Cup at least three times and their first win since 1986. 

Despite Mbappé single-handedly fought to secure France’s chance to win the title by scoring a hattrick at the World Cup final, they just couldn’t manage to make it through the penalties. Nevertheless, the FIFA World Cup Finals was an eventful game France bagged the much-needed win to become the third nation to win back-to-back FIFA World Cup titles and the first since Brazil in 1962. 

However, the game and the audience’s hearts were ruled by Lionel Messi who also scored a goal against the French. 

Meanwhile, amidst the celebrations, Bollywood celebrities - Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Preity Zinta, Prakash Raj, Anil Kapoor and more expressed their joy on Argentina’s win over France. They even shared their congratulatory messages for Messi following the roaring win over France via Twitter. 











For those unaware, Argentina has so far won six matches against their 12 meetings with France. The latter has managed to bag only three wins with the remaining three matches ending in a draw. Argentina appeared in its sixth FIFA World Cup final, while France marked its fourth appearance in the title clash.
