Filmfare Awards 2020 is set to begin with less than three hours from now and here are all the deets of the much awaited award show which shall make it worth watch for you.  To be held in Guwahati this year, show will focus on Assam and its culture, which has been a well kept secret for years now. As we saw few celebs already reaching the venue yesterday, there are few more celebs also jetting off from respective locations to this lovely destination.

This much awaited award show as per reports in Guwahatiplus.com will begin at 6 pm; with audience taking their seats by 5:30 pm. The ATDC Chairman, Jayanta Malla Baruah is pretty thrilled and looking forward to host this gala event in the state of Assam; it is termed as Awesome Assam.  Though it is mentioned by ATDC chairman of biggies like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan gracing the show, the confirmation on the same is still awaited.  The show will be hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Vicky Kaushal.

That reminds us to thank KJo, who yesterday taking to his Instagram account shared a video which featured couple of celebs heading for the award show. This list includes Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana with his wife Tahira Kashyap, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aaryan.


Besides them,  celebs who also expected to grace this lovely evening are Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, Sunny Leone, Disha Patani, Radhika Apte, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Manish Paul, Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao, Ali Fazal, Pooja Hegde, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt. The people of this state might also a get to see Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Hema Malini , Aditya Roy Kapur, as they are also tentatively heard to be travelling to Northeast for the event. With Bollywood stars making the evening glamourous, adding to the charm will be performance by 150 Assamese artists and dancers. The event shall highlight Assamese culture with one tribal performance, Bihu and Sattriya.
