The 66th Vimal Elaichi Filmfare Awards is currently creating a huge buzz. Farah Khan took to her Instagram account and revealed that she won an award for Best Choreography for the title song of Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara. Farah Khan is beyond happy and how! Also, this marks Farah Khan's 7th Filmfare win. She shared a photo of herself with the trophy and penned an emotional note. She remembered late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who turned a good choreography into an exceptional song with his ease.
She wrote, "This one s special.. my 7th @filmfareaward for #DilBechara .. my only song with @sushantsinghrajput who turned my good choreography into an exceptional song with his ease.. bittersweet feelings while accepting this today.. thank u my bhai Mukesh @castingchhabra I thought im doing u a favour but clearly it was the opposite." Celebrities congratulated her on the big win. Sunita Kapoor commented, "Wooooohooo congratulations faru," Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives star 'Maheep Kapoor' commented, "Congratulations @farahkhankunder (several heart emojis)" Patralekhaa, Huma Qureshi, and Bhavana Pandey also congratulated her on bagging the award.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been posthumously nominated in the Best Actor category for his spectacular performance in Dil Bechara. Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, Dil Bechara also starred Sanjana Sanghi. The movie is a remake of Hollywood film The Fault In Our Stars.
Apart from SSR, Irrfan Khan, who passed away last year, also received a Best Actor nomination for his role in Angrezi Medium. Other actors who made it to the nomination list include Amitabh Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao among others.
