Filmmaker Luv Ranjan to get married to his longtime girlfriend this month
February is the month of love. Many celebrities are tying the knot this month. Joining the list is filmmaker Luv Ranjan who has directed films like 'Pyar Ka Punchnama', 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the filmmaker is all set to get married to his long-time girlfriend on 20th February. The director will be wrapping his upcoming projects post the wedding.
The report further adds that it will be a destination wedding. It will take place in the presence of family members and close friends of the couple. The pre-wedding festivities will start on February 18.
Bollywood's ace designer Manish Malhotra is taking care of the bride and groom's outfits for the ceremony. Reportedly, the couple visited the designer last week to finalize their ensembles.
On the work front, he is currently shooting for his next starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Boney Kapoor is also a part of the film. This is the first time Ranbir and Shraddha are sharing screen space and their fans are beyond excited for the film. Talking about weddings, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are also all set to tie the knot this month. Earlier, speaking to Bombay Times, Javed Akhtar had revealed details about his son's wedding. He had said, "Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners."
"Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that we cannot host anything on a large scale. So, we are only calling a few people. It will be a very simple affair. Khair abhi tak toh invitations bhi nahi bheje gaye hai," he added.
When asked about Shibani, he said, "She is a very nice girl. All of us like her very much. The most important thing is that Farhan and she get along very well, which is great."
