Tigmanshu Dhulia Says There Is No Actress Better Than Kangana Ranaut In India 'Magic Karti Hai Woh Ladki'
After the critical success of Judgementall Hai Kya, Kangana Ranaut moved on to Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga and Thalaivi, a biopic on the life of Jayalalithaa. Though almost embroiled in controversies for her honest opinions on several issues in the film industry, the actress doesn’t fall short of appreciation from her fans and filmmakers.  Tigmanshu Dhulia, one of the noted filmmakers in Bollywood, feels Kangana Ranaut’s sincerity towards her work, makes her equivalent to yesteryears actress Waheeda Rehman.

Recently in an interaction, Dhulia stated in no uncertain terms that Kangana Ranaut was the best female actor in India, and she was truly magic onscreen. When categorically asked if Ranaut was better than the legendary actors like Waheeda Rehman, he stated that undoubtedly Waheeda Ji was a great actor, but the range of roles and characters Kangana has played is entirely different and unlike anyone else. Interestingly, after the release of Manikarnika, Waheeda Ji herself had praised Kangana's performance and direction. Well, with Dhulia showering praises on Kangana, her sister Rangoli was quick to take note and even thank the filmmaker for his kind words. We wonder if there is any film in the pipeline which shall get Tigmanshu and Kangana join hands.

Known to thoroughly decode her character before she starts shooting, the actress is currently perfecting her dancing skills. For Thalaivi, the actress is taking Bharatnatyam lessons on a serious note.

However, the film has hit a roadblock with J Jayalalithaa's niece Deepa Jayakumar, seeking a stay on the film, as makers have gone ahead without her consent.
