Actress Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who first met and fell in love on the sets of their film ‘Fukrey’, are all set to get married this year. Yes, finally their much-awaited wedding is happening! The couple, who has been in a relationship for nearly six years, was supposed to get married in 2020 but it got delayed due to Covid 19 pandemic. Now, as per the latest report, Richa and Ali will walk down the aisle in September end.
According to Pinkvilla's report, the duo has decided to get married this year. They will exchange wedding vows in two ceremonies- one will take place in Mumbai and the other in Delhi. Earlier, in an interview with Mashable India, the Masaan actress spoke about her wedding with Ali getting postponed for one or another reason. Richa was quoted saying, “Whenever we think of getting married, a new (Covid-19) variant comes. In 2020, we had booked places also, but the first wave came, followed by lockdown and destruction. Notably, Richa and Ali’s sweet love story is nothing short of a fairy tale. The actor proposed to his ladylove in 2019 during their vacation in the Maldives. Reportedly, Ali confessed his feeling to Richa in the most romantic way possible, he arranged an intimate dinner with Champagne and went down on his knees to pop up the big question to Richa.
After hiding their relationship from the public eye for five long years, the couple made their relationship official for the first time at the World premiere of Victoria in Venice where they walked hand-in-hand and posed together for the international media.
