Laal Singh Chaddha wrapped: Actor Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor have wrapped up their most awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is the official adaption of Tom Hanks' 'Forrest Grump'. The film went on floors in 2020 and was shot over at 100 locations in India. The makers have given their all to deliver a solid product. The film is produced by Aamir Khan in association with Viacom18 Studios and is slated to release In cinema halls in December 2021.
Sonu Sood surveyed by IT department: Income tax department conducted raids at Bollywood actor Sonu Sood's premises after which people are coming out in support of the actor. During difficult times of COVID, Sonu Sood stepped down as messiah and helped millions of people for which the actor was widely recognized for his humanitarian work. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Spokesperson Raghav Chadha confessed that it is nothing but a witch hunt by the insecure government. "This is nothing but a witch hunt by an insecure government against a giant philanthropist considered a 'messiah' by millions. His only crime is that he worked for the welfare of the downtrodden when they were orphaned by the state," Raghav Chadha tweeted.
Sequel of Bhoot Police confirmed: The highly anticipated horror-comedy Bhoot Police has recently premiered on Disney plus Hotstar. It stars Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saif Ali Khan, and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. Since the show is doing quite well the producer of the film Ramesh Taurani has confirmed a sequel of the film. And a source also mentioned that both Saif and Arjun will be part of the sequel. In an interview with Pinkvilla Ramesh Taurani said, “Yes, we are definitely planning a sequel to Bhoot Police. The audience is enjoying the first part and I am looking forward to taking it forward with the team.”
Annabelle Sethupathy released & leaked: Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu starrer horror-comedy Anabelle Sethupathy released on Disney plus Hotstar on 17th September. But having said that the movie has become the victim of piracy. The film has been leaked online for free watch and download in HD quality. Anabelle Sethupathy revolves around a small-time burglar who gets in a house full of ghosts. It has been helmed Deepak Sundarajan.
Priyanka Chopra trolled: American network CBS announced that they are changing the format of The Activist Competition Series after the makers and the judges Priyanka Chopra Jonas, American singer-songwriter Usher, and Dancing with the Stars star Julianne Hough received a severe backlash for it. After which Priyanka issued a statement on her Instagram handle where she spoke about the changes and how she is glad to work with people who had an ear to the ground. After which Global Citizen also issued a statement of getting it wrong. “Global activism centers on collaboration and cooperation, not competition. We apologize to the activists, hosts, and the larger activist community we got it wrong,” the organization said.
It further added, “It is our responsibility to use this platform in the most effective way to realize change and elevate the incredible activists dedicating their lives to progress all around the world".
