Bollywood celebs welcoming lord Ganesha has been the highlight of all the social media platforms from past two days from Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi being the first few celebs kick starting the festivities. Thanking Shilpa Shetty for advocating about green ganpati, Dia Mirza too visited Shilpa's residence to worship the deity.

Blue eyed beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too joined the league and wished her fans by posting an image of the deity’s palm on her Instagram account.
Celebrating it with much pomp and grandeur, it is celebrated on a huge scale in Mumbai and across Maharashtra. This ten days festival spreads a happy vibe in the atmosphere, with people singing bhajans and aartis to brightening up the surroundings. Several Bollywood songs are played on the loud speaker further making the festival lively.
