Ganeshotsav 2019: Deepika Padukone Looks Ethereal In A Silk Saree As She Seeks Blessings From Lalbaugcha Raja
Amid the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, everyone, including our Bollywood celebs, seems to be soaked in festivities. It is that time of the year when we get to see B-townies visiting various Ganpati pandals to offer prayers. And jumping onto the bandwagon is the stunning Deepika Padukone, who was the recent celebrity to grace Lalbaugcha Raja on Wednesday night. Well, this was a little extra special for Dippy as it was her first Ganpati post her marriage to Ranveer Singh. And, guess, that is the reason Deepika Padukone was decked up as one newly-wedded bride.

For the night, the Bajirao Mastani actress looked all shades of breathtaking in a peach-coloured silk saree that had heavy embellishments on it. Further, Deepika completed her look with her signature bun and a heavy yet beautiful set of earrings. Interestingly, the actress was barefoot throughout her visit and, unsurprisingly, she was mobbed by an ocean of fans at the pandal. Check out Deepika Padukone’s pictures below:

On the work front, Deepika Padukone has two of the most anticipated films in her kitty. The first one is Chhapaak, which chronicles the life of an acid-attack survivor named Laxmi Agarwal- and has been helmed by Meghna Gulzar. Further, She reunites with hubby Ranveer Singh for ’83, a film that will bring India’s successful win at the 1983 World Cup on the celluloid. In an interview, Deepika had opened up on her role in ’83. “I am so glad that Kabir Khan (director of ’83) came to me with it. This happened a couple of months ago when he was still casting the boys for the film. It’s just that I was busy with Chhapaak and we were waiting for the right moment to make the announcement,” said the actress.
