The recent teaser launch of Gangubai Kathiawadi has created massive buzz and much anticipation for the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has yet again given Indian Cinema a powerful big-screen character of Gangubai, portrayed by Alia Bhatt, whose performance in the teaser has left everyone spellbound. After much speculation, it is confirmed that Ajay Devgn will be seen playing a significant role in this stem-winding story. Marking Ajay Devgn and Alia's first film together, Gangubai Kathiawadi also celebrates the reunion of the superstar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 22 years.

Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Leela Bhansali earlier teamed up for the iconic Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Now as per the online reports, Ajay Devgn will join the cast and crew of Gangubai Kathiawadi from tomorrow, i.e., February 27 at the grand set which has been created in Mumbai. Gangubai Kathiawadi teaser was dropped on a special occasion- February 24 marks director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s performance in the Gangubai Kathiawadi teaser is being lauded by one and all.

Recently, Alia’s upcoming film RRR director SS Rajamouli and co-star Ram Charan took to social media to praise the actress. Baahubali director wrote, “Gangubai is as fierce as fierce can get! @aliaa08’s avatar as #GangubaiKathiawadi is very impressive..:) Looking forward to see #SanjayLeelaBhansali’s magnificent work on the screen,” while Ram Charan said, “Superb Teaser Sanjay Sir! Great screen presence @aliaa08 Looking forward to the film.”
