Gangubai Kathiawadi: Ranbir Kapoor’s Ex Katrina Kaif To Do A Special Number For His GF Alia Bhatt Starrer?
If the rumour reports are anything to go by, Ranbir Kapoor’s ex-flame Katrina Kaif and his current Alia Bhatt might be coming together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi but only for a special reason
Is this happening for real? Is Sanjay Leela Bhansali going to repeat himself by having a dance-off between two ladies? Or will we see a dance-off? Well, these questions will arise in your mind because the buzz is that Katrina Kaif to have a special dance number in Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Yes, you read that right. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Katrina Kaif has been roped in for a special song in the film and knowing Bhansali who has a thing for show songs on an extravagant scale, the song will reportedly be mounted on a lavish scale.
Whoa! Now that’s a piece of information that has got us all psyched for two reasons – one being Alia and Katrina sharing the same screen space (if only it is happening) and other is the fact that both the actresses have a connection with Ranbir Kapoor, it would be very interesting to see them together. Though we haven’t got an official confirmation from anyone yet, if you recollect, just a few days ago, shutterbugs spotted Katrina outside the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office. Not only this, but we also saw Alia Bhatt coming to Katrina’s place and we believe it was for some discussion.
Interestingly, if we connect the dots together, everything seemed just about right that the Bharat actress and Bajirao Mastani director have indeed joined hands for Alia starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi but for now, we wait for the official confirmation.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif will be next in Rohit Shetty’s cop-verse Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar. The trailer of the film was launched yesterday, leaving everyone mighty impressed with it. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt has Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Takht and Sadak 2 with Aditya Roy Kapur.
