Alia Bhatt, who made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, has come a long way in her acting career. The actress is known for her excellent acting chops and she never disappoints her fans. Alia will next be seen in the highly anticipated film Gangubai Kathiawadi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and the teaser of the film finally released today. Impressed by Alia’s performance in the film, Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor have lauded Alia through social media posts.
Alia Bhatt plays the role of Gangubai, the queen of Kamathipura, in the film, and her brilliant performance as a fierce, powerful woman, has left people in awe. Alia’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram stories and while sharing the teaser, she wrote, “Outstanding @aliaabhatt Absolutely Brilliant,” along with a thumbs-up emoji. Alia shared Neetu Kapoor’s Insta story and replied to it with, “Love youuuuu.”
Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also took to her Instagram story, and shared the poster of the film. She added several fire emojis over it, and wrote, “can’t wait!!!” Take a look:
Meanwhile, many other celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Dia Mirza lauded Alia for her performance in the film. Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, “I always look forward to your work as an actor ‘little one’. And this one seems extremely special....and you....so Gangsta!!! All my love and wishes for the film. @aliaa08.”
Gangubai Kathiawadi will hit the theatres on July 30, 2021. Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam is also releasing on the same date, and will clash with Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi at the box office.
