Gauri Khan Was In Tears After Aryan Khan Was Granted Bail In Mumbai Drugs Case; Shah Rukh Khan Received Calls From Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan And Suniel Shetty -Report
Aryan Khan was granted bail on Thursday by the Bombay High Court.
Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday. As soon as the news came out, several celebrities including Swara Bhasker, Sonu Sood, Hansal Mehta, R Madhavan among others took to social media to react to the same. As per a report in India Today, Gauri Khan was reportedly crying on the phone while speaking to her close industry friends Seema Khan, Maheep Kapoor among others.
Several of SRK's friends from the industry including Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty reached out to him to congratulate him.
As reported in India Today, "SRK got calls from everyone from Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar. Gauri was heard crying on the phone to her friends Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan, who have been with her daily on the phone giving support. Gauri Khan broke down as soon as the text came in regarding the bail. She was in tears and was seen falling on her knees and praying." The report also stated that Suhana Khan spoke to Aryan's friends in the US and UK and thanked them for their support in the last few weeks. Soon after Aryan Khan was granted bail, Suhana took to Instagram and shared a post expressing her love for her brother and father. The candid pictures captured SRK posing with Suhana and Aryan. She captioned the post as, "I love you."
Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3 in connection with the seizure of banned drugs onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Former Attorney General of India, Mukul Rohatgi represented Aryan at the court during the bail hearing. As reported by ANI, he told the media after the bail verdict, "Bombay HC has granted bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha after the arguments for three days. The detailed order will be given tomorrow. Hopefully, all they will come out of the jail by tomorrow or Saturday."
