Gautam Gulati: I rejected Ekta’s XXX for its nudity clause
The actor reveals that he was offered the erotica by the TV czarina but had to turn it down
After a dream run in Bigg Boss 8, Gautam Gulati is gearing up for his Bollywood debut with Ekta Kapoor’s Azhar.
You may recall that the Bigg Boss winner was supposed to make his foray into B-town with Udanchoo. But he walked out of the film leaving the producers high and dry, when mentor Ekta came knocking on his door with a 3-film contract.

But did you know that Ekta had first approached Gautam for the Ken Ghosh-directed erotica XXX? The TV actor turned the film down as he was uncomfortable with the nudity clause, which Ekta had made mandatory for all actors starring in the film.
Talking exclusively to SpotboyE, Gautam said, “I was offered XXX. But I said no to the film because people know that I am a good guy and that is the way they want to see me. I felt that my fans would be upset if they see me doing nude scenes.”
