Good News For Karan Johar! Ranbir-Anushka-Aishwarya starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Crosses 200 Cr Worldwide
After fighting out all the controversies and the big clash at the BO, Karan’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has crossed its first milestone
Karan Johar will be a happy man right now! His much talked-about Diwali release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has crossed the milestone mark of 200 crore worldwide.
Of course in today’s times these figures are not so much to boast about but going by the amount of controversies this film was stuck in, it is surely a big relief on Karan Johar’s pocket.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has a good jump on the second Sunday too. The total collections this weekend was Rs 6.55 crore, taking the film’s total business in India to Rs 97.15 crore net.
But what’s commendable is that, just like Karan Johar’s other films, even Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has done outstanding overseas. It has raced past the 10 million dollar mark after second weekend. Currently at 10.2 million dollars (INR 68.06 crore Gross),India gross is Rs 138.78 crore.
Making the total worldwide business of Rs 206.84 Gross.
Talking about the reviews, Karan’s film has got mixed rections. A certain section has liked the film while others have slammed it saying it’s a disappointment.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It clashed with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay on Diwali. The film, by the time it got released, gained lot of publicity thanks to the Pakistani artistes ban controversy.
Fawad Khan’s role was rather minimal in the film, but the controversy which hounded the release of the film was quite big.
But now that the dust has settled, we’re sure Karan Johar will be quite relieved!
