Congratulations are in order as Kalki Koechlin, who surprised her fans by announcing her pregnancy on social media months ago, has now delivered her baby. The Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani actress, who was expecting her first child with boyfriend Guy Hershberg, gave birth to a baby girl last night. Throughout her pregnancy, the actress made sure to treat her fans with delightful pictures of herself flaunting her baby bump. Kalki had revealed that she would deliver her baby through water birthing and was super excited for this new journey with her partner Guy Hershberg.
Kalki Koechlin had earlier expressed her excitement and wait by writing “Blowing up like a balloon of anticipation coloured by YouTube videos of birthstories, Birthcentre updates, a long list of heavy books, the endless advice of mothers who know better and the black hole of Whatsapp spamming from various sources as I wait for my own version of this age old story to unfold.” Now, paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared the good news on social media with fans. He took to Instagram and shared a collage of pictures with the caption, “Congratulations #kalkikoechlin she had a baby girl last night”.
At Kareena Kapoor Khan’s chat show named What Women Want, Kalki had opened up on their parents’ reaction to her pregnancy. She said, “Thankfully, both our families are quite unconventional in terms of...they are not too traditional in the sense of having to be married and all of that. My mother is like, ‘Look, next time you marry, just make sure it’s for life.’ Because I have already been divorced once. So she wasn’t in a big hurry."
